Primitive fermionic operators#

Primitive operators accept either a flat mode index or degree-of-freedom coordinates. Each instance exposes indices, mode, modes, dag, and string.

Annihilation#

class edinpy.fermion.Annihilation(indices, modes)[source]#

Fermionic annihilation operator \(c_i\).

Parameters:
  • indices (int or iterable of int) – Flat mode index or degree-of-freedom coordinates resolved by modes.

  • modes (FermionModes) – Ordered mode specification on which the operator acts.

property dag#

Hermitian adjoint of the annihilation operator.

Type:

Creation

Creation#

class edinpy.fermion.Creation(indices, modes)[source]#

Fermionic creation operator \(c_i^\dagger\).

Parameters:
  • indices (int or iterable of int) – Flat mode index or degree-of-freedom coordinates resolved by modes.

  • modes (FermionModes) – Ordered mode specification on which the operator acts.

property dag#

Hermitian adjoint of the creation operator.

Type:

Annihilation

Number#

class edinpy.fermion.Number(indices, modes)[source]#

Fermionic number operator \(n_i=c_i^\dagger c_i\).

Parameters:
  • indices (int or iterable of int) – Flat mode index or degree-of-freedom coordinates resolved by modes.

  • modes (FermionModes) – Ordered mode specification on which the operator acts.

property dag#

Hermitian adjoint of the number operator.
