HarmonicTransform.set_interpolator(interpolator)

Select the radial interpolator and recompute all retained harmonics.

Parameters:

interpolator ({'linear', 'cubic', 'pchip'}) – Interpolation used between the PETAL2D radial samples.

Returns:

This instance after recomputing all F_m(q) values.

Return type:

HarmonicTransform

Raises:

ValueError – If interpolator is not one of the supported names.

Notes

Changing the interpolator clears the attached q-sampling and radial- quadrature convergence records.
