Interaction.set_interpolator(interpolator)

Select the momentum-space interpolator and recompute V.

Parameters:

interpolator ({'linear', 'cubic', 'pchip'}) – Interpolation used for the sampled momentum-space harmonics.

Returns:

This instance after recomputing V and harmonic-pair contributions.

Return type:

Interaction

Raises:

ValueError – If interpolator is not one of the supported names.

Notes

Changing the interpolator clears the harmonic interpolation caches and any attached interaction convergence record.
